Welcome to Adventures North

ADVENTURES NORTH is a TV series featuring adventures and wilderness experiences in the remote unspoiled areas of Canada's north and arctic region the last frontier. The series has been aired in the USA and Canada  since 1992.

 

Topics include the spectacular scenery, fantastic fishing in pristine waters, observing wildlife in their natural habitats, boating, winter camping, ice fishing, lodges, destinations, interesting guests and local people plus stories about adventures in Canada's north and arctic.

Our geographic coverage ranges from the boreal forests lakes and rivers of the Canadian Shield in northern Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba, to the vast arctic tundra and coastal areas of Nunavik, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories.


Our new episodes feature Polar Bears, Caribou and Musk Ox viewing; fishing for Arctic Char, Lake Trout and Walleye; touring the northern part of Nunavik, with visits to Digges Island, the Pingualuit Crater and National Park and 4 northern villages; a winter encounter with Musk Ox on the Ungava Bay coast; a new Great Bear Lake adventure, ice fishing for big Walleyes on Lake Winnipeg, a 2 stop fly-in and fishing trip trip in northern Manitoba; we revisit Gods Lake and Elk Island Lodge, the Quebec Labrador Caribou migration, plus the 5th Annual Lund Mania Canada Fishing Tournament on the Winnipeg River.
